In Florida, a protective order is an injunction for protection issued under F.S. §741.30 (domestic violence) or §784.046 (repeat, dating, or sexual violence), restraining a respondent from contact or proximity and authorizing temporary relief including exclusive use of the residence and temporary time-sharing.
