03Our Focus

Why We Focus on Uncontested Divorce

Traditional divorce lawyers charge $5,000-$10,000 or more because they handle contested cases — battles over property, custody, and support that drag on for months.

But when you and your spouse already agree on the terms, your case is different. Florida is a no-fault state — the only required ground is that the marriage is irretrievably broken (F.S. 61.052), so there's nothing for a judge to decide. You need an attorney to prepare the paperwork correctly and guide it through the court — without the cost of a contested battle.

That's what we do. We focus on uncontested divorces — cases where both parties agree. This focus lets us offer flat-fee pricing at a fraction of what traditional lawyers charge.

Streamlined Process

Many cases finalize in about two weeks when both spouses sign promptly. Florida sets a 20-day waiting period after filing (F.S. 61.19); timing still varies by county.

04What You Get

Attorney-drafted, attorney-reviewed — not DIY forms

You don't need litigation pricing for a non-litigation divorce — but you still need attorney-drafted documents. Here's exactly what the flat $750 covers.

Included in the $750 attorney fee

  • Petition for Dissolution of Marriage
  • Marital Settlement Agreement
  • Parenting plan & child support documents (if children)
  • Financial disclosure documents
  • E-filing with the court
  • Attorney review before filing
  • Victoria-guided online intake
  • Private case tracker — always know where your case stands
  • Unlimited email support

Not included (needs a different path)

  • Contested disputes or negotiation
  • Formal financial discovery
  • Mediation of disagreements
  • Emergency motions or injunctions
  • Contested hearings or trial
  • Representing both spouses

Why is it only $750?

Because you're not litigating. Divorce gets expensive from conflict — discovery fights, depositions, contested hearings, and hourly back-and-forth. When you both agree, none of that happens. $750 is the flat attorney fee for a limited-scope uncontested case. Large dollar amounts don't make a case contested — disagreement does.

Every document is reviewed by Antonio G. Jimenez, Esq. · Florida Bar #21022 before filing. The firm represents the purchasing spouse; your spouse may sign as an unrepresented party and may seek independent legal advice.

Attorney-reviewed before filing

Every document is prepared through an attorney-designed process and reviewed by Antonio G. Jimenez, Esq. (Florida Bar #21022) before anything is signed or filed. If we make an error in the paperwork, we'll correct it. We can't promise a court outcome or timeline — but the work is done by a Florida attorney, not a form mill.

Additional Fees & Costs

Our prices are for legal services only. The following are paid separately:

  • Court filing fee ($425.16 total, includes 4% convenience fee for card payments)
  • Notary fees ($50 per signing session)
  • Recording fees for deeds (if applicable)

We'll provide exact amounts for your situation before you get started.
